Software Test Engineer

Arista Networks is seeking a Software Test Engineer to join our development team in Santa Clara, California. In this role, you will collaborate closely with developers to ensure the delivery of high-quality networking products. Arista is renowned for its innovative, software-driven networking solutions that cater to large data centers, cloud environments, and enterprise networks.

As a Software Test Engineer, you will be responsible for identifying and resolving complex software and hardware issues. Your duties will include writing test plans, designing network topologies to validate product functionality, and executing tests to assess performance, stability, and scalability. You will work within an agile team, participating in short development cycles to produce functional software iterations.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in creating test methodologies and writing test plans. A strong understanding of networking protocols such as Ethernet, VLANs, IP Routing, and TCP/IP is essential. Experience with test tools like IXIA or Spirent, familiarity with test automation tools and scripting languages, and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering with at least one year of experience are required. A Master's degree and CCIE certification are preferred.

The base salary for this position ranges from $110,000 to $185,000 annually, depending on factors such as skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
