The Solutions Consultant - Data & AI Governance at OneTrust is a pivotal role that bridges technical expertise with strategic advisory, focusing on the responsible use of data and AI. Operating within the Sales Engineering team, this position collaborates closely with Account Executives and Sales Engineers to provide comprehensive support throughout the sales cycle. In this role, the Solutions Consultant serves as a trusted technical advisor to enterprise customers, leading architecture discussions across AI governance, data governance, privacy, and security. Responsibilities include conducting discovery sessions to identify governance maturity gaps and business drivers related to trust and risk, designing end-to-end governance solutions that balance technical feasibility with regulatory compliance, and building and delivering proofs-of-concept to demonstrate OneTrust's integration capabilities within complex AI and data ecosystems.
Candidates should possess 6–12+ years in Solutions Engineering, Technical Sales, or Technical Consulting roles, with a strong background in Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC), privacy, security, or compliance. A deep understanding of data and AI governance concepts, including data classification, metadata management, policy enforcement, and AI lifecycle governance, is essential. Technical expertise in SaaS architecture, cloud-native systems, and distributed environments is also required.
The compensation package for this role includes an annual base salary ranging from $127,500 to $19,125,000 USD, with individual pay determined by factors such as location, job-related skills, work experience, and relevant education.
