Specialist / Senior Specialist, Product Marketing, Life Science
Lila Sciences is seeking a strategic Product Marketing Manager to lead the go-to-market strategy for its life science product portfolio. This role involves translating complex AI and laboratory capabilities—such as mRNA design, DNA construct optimization, and AI-driven medicinal chemistry—into clear and compelling commercial offerings. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the Life Science Product team to define positioning, launch plans, and evidence that transition prospects from initial interest to committed programs.
Key responsibilities include developing and continuously refining product narratives tailored to specific personas, such as Heads of R&D, Therapeutic Area leaders, and Scientific IT professionals. The role also encompasses leading end-to-end go-to-market strategies for new life science capabilities, from beta and pilot framing through general availability and expansion. Additionally, the candidate will create technical and visionary content, including use-case briefs, technical one-pagers, solution guides, and decks for customer pitches and scientific meetings.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Bioengineering, Data Science, or a related field, with an advanced degree (MS/PhD) being a plus. A minimum of 5 years of experience in Product Marketing or a closely related role at a B2B SaaS, life sciences technology, or AI/ML company is required. The candidate should have working knowledge of the life science value chain, familiarity with lab automation and AI/ML in drug discovery, and exceptional writing and presentation skills. Proven success in cross-functional collaboration and a startup mindset are also essential.
Lila Sciences offers competitive compensation, including bonus potential and generous early equity. The expected base salary range for this position is $68,000 to $117,333 per year, reflecting the candidate's unique background, expertise, and impact.
