As a Repair Authorization Specialist at Autohero, you will be responsible for authorizing inspection reports of purchased vehicles during their preparation for sale. Based on these reports, you will make decisions regarding the scope of work, appropriate repair technologies, and budgets required for both visual and mechanical repairs. Your duties will also include verifying and approving cost estimates from external workshops and overseeing the entire repair process to ensure each vehicle delivered to the customer meets our high-quality standards.
Your primary responsibilities will involve reviewing vehicle inspection reports, authorizing suggested budgets and repair technologies, negotiating and approving repair cost estimates with partner workshops, coordinating and monitoring repair timelines, and escalating any delays. Additionally, you will be responsible for approving and reporting cost invoices, ordering spare parts and accessories, and reporting on the scope, costs, and timelines of vehicle repairs.
We are looking for candidates with an interest in the automotive industry and a basic understanding of vehicle construction. Strong negotiation skills and good organizational abilities are essential. Proficiency in computer use, including MS Office or Google Suite, and a valid category B driving license are required. A minimum of A2/B1 level English proficiency is also necessary. Preferred qualifications include relevant education in the automotive field, experience as a vehicle appraiser, and practical knowledge of bodywork, painting, and mechanics.
