Sr. Clinical Research Coordinator, Clinical Operations
Prime Medicine is seeking a Senior Clinical Research Coordinator to join our Clinical Development Operations team. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to transformative clinical programs aimed at treating rare diseases. The position is hybrid, requiring both in-office presence in Watertown, MA, and remote work, with expectations aligned to team and business needs.
The Senior Clinical Research Coordinator will support the execution of clinical trials from startup through closeout, ensuring adherence to protocols, timelines, and quality standards. Responsibilities include assisting with site startup activities, developing study materials, maintaining study documentation, overseeing CRO/vendor activities, tracking study progress, and serving as a primary point of contact for CRAs and sites. Additionally, the role involves supporting inspection readiness activities, clinical sample management, and contributing to SOP development and process improvements.
Candidates should possess a BS/BA/RN degree in science or a health-related field, with a minimum of 2–4 years of clinical research experience; sponsor experience is strongly preferred. Familiarity with clinical trial operations, ICH-GCP, and regulatory requirements is essential. Experience with EDC systems, TMF systems, and clinical trial documentation is required. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, and possess strong communication and relationship-building skills.
