Sr. Global IP Paralegal

ASM is seeking a Senior Global IP Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. This role involves managing and protecting ASM's intellectual property portfolio, ensuring compliance with global IP laws, and supporting the company's innovation initiatives. The position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment at the forefront of semiconductor solutions.

Key responsibilities include conducting IP searches, preparing and filing patent applications, managing patent prosecution, and coordinating with external counsel. The Senior Global IP Paralegal will also be responsible for maintaining IP records, monitoring IP deadlines, and assisting in IP litigation matters. Daily tasks involve collaborating with R&D teams to identify patentable inventions and providing strategic IP advice to various business units.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 5 years of experience in IP law, preferably within the semiconductor industry. Strong knowledge of patent laws and procedures, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently are essential. Proficiency in IP management software and experience with international IP filings are highly desirable.
