Staff Platform Engineer

Shakepay is seeking a Staff Platform Engineer to join their Platform team, which empowers engineering teams and other functions by providing the tools, infrastructure, and best practices needed for autonomy, productivity, and reliability. This role involves shaping and evolving the internal platform that supports engineering across Shakepay, operating at a company-wide level to design foundational systems and platform capabilities that enable teams to build, ship, and operate software quickly and reliably. The Staff Platform Engineer will play a key role in defining the architecture and long-term direction of the developer platform, improving engineering velocity, reliability, and operational excellence across the organization. This includes developing intelligent tooling and workflows that automate repetitive work, assist engineers in complex tasks, and enable teams across the company to interact with systems and data in new ways.
