Staff Product Designer, Pay Ecosystem
Remote is seeking a Staff Product Designer to join their Pay Ecosystem Product Design team. This role involves leading design initiatives for the payroll team, which focuses on creating experiences that enable customers to pay individuals globally in a safe and compliant manner. As a key member of the design team, the Staff Product Designer will collaborate with product designers, engineers, product managers, and stakeholders worldwide to drive design excellence across multiple teams or significant product areas.
The primary responsibilities include leading all design efforts within the assigned domain, making strategic design and user-experience decisions related to core features, and driving initiatives focused on future functionality. The role also involves mentoring team members, providing and soliciting feedback, and working collaboratively to continually raise the quality bar. Additionally, the designer will create user flows ranging from low-fidelity wireframes to full-fidelity, pixel-ready designs that lead to intuitive user experiences.
Candidates should have exemplary experience in designing, evolving, and innovating user interfaces, with a strong ability to empathize with enterprise users and apply user-centered design techniques at scale. An impeccable portfolio showcasing holistic, scalable systems and a masterful understanding of visual and interaction design fundamentals is essential. Strong communication skills are required to build narratives around design work, provide direction and guidance, and collaborate effectively with peers and stakeholders. Experience in high-growth, fast-paced environments, and effective cross-functional collaboration with product and engineering counterparts is also important. Preference will be given to candidates with experience designing complex B2B SaaS solutions in industries like HRTech or FinTech.
The annual salary range for this full-time position is $70,700 to $159,050 USD.
