Staff Product Manager, Data Intelligence
Ridgeline is seeking a Staff Product Manager for its Data Intelligence team to lead the development and management of the Reporting Engine, Report Builder's data layer, and the Historical Data Archive. This role involves collaborating with engineering to enhance distributed query platforms, curating and governing datasets, and defining cross-domain data concepts. The position is available in San Ramon, CA; New York, NY; and Reno, NV.
Key responsibilities include curating and governing datasets to ensure consistent structure, provenance, freshness, and quality, partnering with engineering to scale performant querying and analysis over large, complex datasets, and collaborating with domain teams to define shared reporting concepts. The role also involves writing clear use-case documents, PRDs, and product definitions, supporting customer go-lives, and utilizing AI tools throughout the product lifecycle.
Candidates should have over five years of experience in product management or a similar function, with a track record of owning and shipping larger, cross-functional features or platform capabilities. Strong fintech or enterprise SaaS domain knowledge, particularly in investment reporting, portfolio accounting, or data/query platforms, is preferred. The role requires the ability to engage with engineering on data architecture and query performance, write clear product definitions, and communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
The typical starting salary range for new hires in this role is $136,000 to $187,000 annually, depending on location and experience.
