Staff Software Engineer, Full Stack

Midi Health is seeking a Staff Full Stack Software Engineer to join our dynamic team in Palo Alto, California. This hybrid role requires in-office presence on Tuesdays and Thursdays. As a key technical leader, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our healthcare platform, driving innovation, and ensuring the scalability of our services.

In this position, you will analyze complex technical challenges, lead architectural reviews, and develop scalable solutions to prevent technical debt. Your responsibilities include crafting high-quality, flexible code, establishing best practices for automated testing and continuous integration, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate business goals into technical strategies. Additionally, you will mentor engineers, fostering a culture of curiosity and technical excellence.

The ideal candidate has over 10 years of experience in building and scaling complex engineering solutions, with a proven track record in leading large-scale architectural migrations within startup environments. Proficiency in Django/DRF and React/Next.js or similar technologies is essential. You should be adept at translating abstract product goals into concrete technical roadmaps and possess a versatile background in developing consumer-facing products and complex operational systems. Experience with agentic coding tools and large language models is also highly valued.

Midi Health offers a competitive salary range of $210,000 to $260,000 per year, based on experience and skills. Employees are also eligible for a wide range of benefits and equity in the company.
