Staff SRE
The Staff Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) at OneTrust plays a pivotal role in enhancing the technical stability and efficiency of the company's products and services. This position involves leading and influencing multiple teams and initiatives to ensure the reliability and scalability of OneTrust's systems. Key responsibilities include designing and building platforms, tools, and frameworks to improve system reliability, scalability, and performance. The SRE will define and implement best practices such as Service Level Indicators (SLIs), Service Level Objectives (SLOs), and error budgets. Additionally, the role involves leading incident response efforts, conducting root cause analyses, and implementing long-term solutions to prevent recurrence. Collaboration with engineering teams to embed reliability into the software development lifecycle is also essential.
The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, along with over 10 years of experience in software engineering with a strong focus on backend systems and distributed architecture. Extensive experience in building and operating Java-based systems using RESTful APIs, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture is required. A strong understanding of distributed systems concepts, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), and expertise in observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK is also necessary.
