Staff Supply Chain Planner
Cellanome, a well-funded startup, is seeking a Staff Supply Chain Planner to join our dynamic team in Foster City, CA. Reporting to the Senior Director of Supply Chain, the Staff Planner will oversee demand planning, supply planning, production scheduling, and global distribution. Key responsibilities include managing the Sales & Operations Planning process, collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather demand forecasts, developing production plans, monitoring inventory levels, and ensuring timely delivery of products to customers. The role also involves working closely with suppliers and contract manufacturers to secure raw materials and components, supporting R&D with new product introductions, and driving continuous improvement initiatives within supply chain processes.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of experience in planning and global supply chain management, preferably in the life science tools industry, with a Bachelor's degree; or 6 years with a Master's degree; or a PhD with 3 years of experience; or equivalent experience. Strong knowledge of demand forecasting methodologies, inventory management principles, and supply chain best practices is essential. Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Netsuite), Microsoft Excel, and AI-based tools is required. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong communication and interpersonal abilities, and the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment are also necessary. Working knowledge of GMP, FDA regulations, and biotech industry standards is preferred.
