Strategic Account Manager
The Strategic Account Manager (SAM) at GoFundMe is a pivotal role within the GoFundMe Pro team, focusing on cultivating and managing executive-level partnerships with high-impact nonprofit clients. In this role, the SAM is responsible for driving long-term client retention, revenue growth, and maximizing the value realization of GoFundMe's services. Key responsibilities include leading annual planning and quarterly executive business reviews, developing multi-threaded relationships across nonprofit departments, and creating data-informed account plans to enhance customer partnerships and increase gross donation volume on the platform.
The ideal candidate will have over five years of experience in customer success, strategic account management, or enterprise nonprofit consulting. Essential qualifications include expertise in digital fundraising strategies, exceptional presentation and relationship-building skills, a proven ability to lead complex renewals and strategic expansion conversations, and strong commercial acumen with comfort in forecasting and negotiation.
GoFundMe offers a competitive annual salary range of $133,500 to $200,500 for this full-time position, which may include potential sales incentive payments.
