Eurofins VBM Laboratoriet A/S is seeking a Laboratory Assistant to join our team in Aabybro, Denmark. As a leading provider of environmental and geotechnical analyses, we offer services related to soil contamination, indoor climate, and building screenings. This role provides valuable laboratory experience in a dynamic and forward-thinking international company.

In this position, your primary responsibilities will include receiving and registering soil and building material samples, as well as preparing these samples for analysis using instruments such as GC-FID and GC-MS. You will work independently during evening and night shifts, and participate in a weekend team composed of students and gap-year assistants. Work hours are flexible and can be adjusted to fit your schedule, with opportunities to swap shifts within a group of 30 laboratory assistants.

We are looking for candidates who are reliable, positive, and highly motivated. Strong collaboration skills and a flexible approach to tasks are essential. Attention to quality and responsibility, along with an efficient, structured, and systematic work style, are important. Proficiency in Danish, both written and spoken, and familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite are required.

The typical workload is 8-12 hours per week, distributed across weekdays and weekends. The laboratory is located at Industrivej 1, 9440 Aabybro, near Aalborg. Please note that public transportation to Aalborg is limited after 10:30 PM, so having access to a car is advantageous.
