Study Director, Biotherapeutics
The Study Director, Biotherapeutics at Eurofins is responsible for promoting the company's Biotherapeutics Services globally, ensuring that study design, execution, and reporting align with client project specifications. This role supports commercial, customer support, and operations teams in project management and contributes to the global Biotherapeutics strategy. The position is based in Saint Charles, Missouri, and involves collaboration with the Eurofins Discovery Team to achieve productivity targets.
Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining client and stakeholder relationships through technical leadership and collaboration, managing client projects across all phases of the study life cycle from design to reporting, and ensuring regulatory compliance and quality assurance of client studies. The role also supports portfolio strategy, new growth areas, and global innovation projects, contributes to service catalog content and external marketing, and provides technical leadership to lab operations, business development, and marketing teams. Additionally, the Study Director may conduct experiments to support client projects, R&D, training, and troubleshooting.
The ideal candidate holds an advanced degree in Immunology, Molecular Biology, or a related Life Science field, with demonstrated experience in large molecule discovery. A minimum of a Master's degree with three years of relevant experience or a Ph.D. with at least one year of relevant experience is required. Candidates should possess excellent knowledge of the drug development process, particularly for Biotherapeutics, and an understanding of lab processes utilized in large molecule drug discovery to design appropriate work plans. Exceptional organizational, negotiation, and communication skills are essential. The role requires residency in or near Saint Charles, MO, with the ability to travel up to 25% of the time, including occasional international travel.
