As the Deputy Workshop Manager in the automotive sector at Auto1, you will play a pivotal role in leading and motivating a team of auto detailers, product photographers, and parts purchasers. Your primary responsibility is to ensure seamless operations within the workshop by developing, implementing, and overseeing processes that maintain high standards of quality and efficiency. This position reports directly to the On-Site Manager and involves close collaboration with various departments, including People, Logistics, and Sales.
Key responsibilities include defining and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) in conjunction with the department head, and implementing measures to achieve set goals. You will be tasked with ensuring smooth workflow through the development, execution, and management of operational processes. Leading and inspiring your team to meet performance standards and fostering a collaborative work environment are essential aspects of this role.
The ideal candidate possesses a completed vocational training in the automotive industry, such as a qualification as a car mechanic, car mechatronics technician, or car master technician. Additional training in the automotive field is desirable. Proven leadership experience in a similar role is required, along with a dynamic, hands-on personality who views change as an opportunity and challenge. A strong passion for automobiles, comprehensive knowledge of various car brands and models, technical affinity, and the ability to comprehend complex processes are crucial. A valid Class B driver's license and excellent German and English language skills, both written and spoken, are mandatory. A structured working approach combined with quality awareness and solution orientation is expected.
