Subject Matter Expert - Trademark SaaS & Services
The Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Trademark SaaS & Services at Questel plays a pivotal role in bridging technical expertise with client engagement. This position is integral to the Client Solution Global Team, focusing on enhancing Questel's SaaS and service offerings in the trademark domain. Questel, a global leader in intellectual property solutions, serves over 20,000 organizations across more than 30 countries, providing comprehensive software and services for optimal IP asset management.
In this role, the SME will be responsible for supporting sales representatives during the sales process by delivering technical and business expertise on Questel's SaaS offerings. Key duties include conducting interactive demonstrations tailored to clients' IP needs, attending customer meetings to present software solutions such as Equinox Corporate and Equinox Law Firm, and assisting in the development of business models. Additionally, the SME will provide training to clients, ensuring they have a thorough understanding of the software, and collaborate with product and UX teams to define use cases and report field insights.
Ideal candidates should possess a strong background in trademark law and services, with significant experience in client-facing roles. Fluency in English and German is required, along with excellent communication, presentation, and training skills. The role demands autonomy, effective time management, and the ability to travel up to 25%. A deep understanding of IP processes, operations, data, and administration is essential, as is the ability to support client data migration in coordination with integration teams.
