Supervisor - Weekend
Eurofins is seeking a Weekend Supervisor to oversee laboratory operations during the first shift from Friday to Monday, 8 AM to 7 PM. This role involves supervising department activities, coordinating with other department heads, and providing guidance on procedures, analysis methods, equipment, and schedules. The Weekend Supervisor will assist in supervising general department operations, ensuring adherence to quality measures that meet or exceed ISO/IEC 17025 standards, and maintaining compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Responsibilities include instructing and monitoring staff in manual and instrumental analysis, operating equipment, performing minor repairs, and developing and implementing procedures to ensure proper equipment maintenance. The role also involves reviewing and evaluating test data for technical accuracy and compliance with standard operating procedures and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
Candidates should possess excellent interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills, along with strong communication abilities. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant science field, preferably Chemistry, is required. Experience or coursework in laboratory procedures, data analysis, computer operations, mathematics, and technical/business writing is preferred. Applicants should have 1-3 years of applicable laboratory experience, including project design and review, and the development and review of new testing protocols. A basic understanding of cGMP, Good Laboratory Practice (GLP), and ISO 17025 guidelines is essential.
