Sustainability Counsel

The Sustainability Counsel role at Axiom involves providing legal guidance on environmental, social, and governance (ESG) matters to Fortune 500 clients. Key responsibilities include advising business units on sustainability and climate-related legal risks, ensuring compliance with ESG regulations, and supporting ESG reporting aligned with global standards. The role also involves collaborating with compliance, finance, and operations teams to embed sustainability into corporate governance and monitoring legal developments related to climate and human rights.

Candidates should have at least 7 years of experience in ESG, sustainability, environmental, or corporate governance law, with a strong understanding of ESG frameworks and regulations. An active law license in a U.S. jurisdiction is required, along with the ability to communicate complex legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders.

Axiom offers competitive compensation ranging from $104,500 to $325,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
