The Senior Vice President of Sales and Sponsorships at Chicago Public Media will lead the development and execution of comprehensive advertising and sponsorship strategies across multiple channels and platforms. This role involves merging radio, newspaper, and digital sales teams to create a collaborative environment that leverages the organization's talent and opportunities within Chicago's corporate and community spaces.

Key responsibilities include driving revenue growth in digital advertising, including custom content, programmatic sales, streaming, newsletters, social media, and podcasts. The SVP will analyze market trends, set budgets, measure campaign performance, and build new sales channels, such as hyperlocal sales models and monetization of archives. Additionally, the role requires partnering with the Product team to optimize programmatic advertising and working closely with executive leadership to manage the go-to-market narrative with key stakeholders.

Candidates should have proven experience in sales leadership within the media industry, preferably in digital, public radio, or newspapers. A demonstrated ability to close sales, strategically improve sales processes, and manage and develop sales talent is essential. Strong strategic thinking, negotiation, and relationship management skills are also required. A bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communication, or a related field is required, with an advanced degree preferred.

The expected annual salary range for this position is $170,000 to $220,000.
