Systems Administrator
Eurofins is seeking a Systems Administrator to join our IT team in Baltimore, MD. This role is integral to maintaining and enhancing the company's computer systems, ensuring secure and efficient operations across hardware, software, and network components. The position requires on-site presence five days a week, with occasional travel to company sites.
The Systems Administrator will be responsible for resolving Help Desk tickets, managing network infrastructure, administering databases, and overseeing server maintenance. Key duties include handling software installations, hardware replacements, and ensuring IT security compliance. Additionally, the role involves supporting internally developed applications and coordinating with third-party vendors for application enhancements and troubleshooting.
Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, along with industry certifications such as Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) or CompTIA Network+. Strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail are essential. The role also requires the capacity to lift up to 20 pounds and the ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
