Systems Engineer, CX Automation Team

Gong is seeking a Systems Engineer to join our CX Automation Team, focusing on building intelligent workflows that enhance the customer journey. This role involves creating automations that deliver timely and relevant information, resources, and calls to action, in collaboration with teams such as Outcomes, Customer Success, RevOps, and Product.

Key responsibilities include identifying and prioritizing high-impact use cases across the customer lifecycle, designing and implementing end-to-end workflows using tools like Workato, Retool, LLMs, and Gong, and building and fine-tuning AI-driven tools. Additionally, the role involves integrating and testing pre-release and new product functionality, and collaborating cross-functionally to ensure seamless deployment of automations within the Gong ecosystem.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in Business Systems, GTM engineering, Data/Analytics engineering, Solutions Engineering, or a similar role in high-growth B2B SaaS. They should possess expertise in building and deploying automations using platforms like Workato, n8n, or Retool, a passion for evaluating emerging AI and automation technologies, a strong understanding of systems architecture, and adept problem-solving skills.
