The Tax Counsel at Bosch North America plays a pivotal role in shaping the company's tax strategy, particularly in the realms of mergers, acquisitions, and post-merger integrations. This position operates at the intersection of law, finance, and international commerce, offering a unique opportunity to influence Bosch's corporate structure and operations across North America.

In this role, the Tax Counsel is responsible for structuring transactions to achieve tax efficiency and minimize risks, managing tax due diligence processes, and reviewing and negotiating tax provisions in M&A agreements. Additionally, the position involves general tax planning with various business units, supporting post-acquisition integration and legal entity simplification initiatives, and collaborating with departments such as legal, finance, treasury, and HR, as well as external tax advisors on corporate transactions. The Tax Counsel also provides guidance on domestic and international tax issues affecting business operations, including commercial contract review, supports permanent establishment reviews and transfer pricing models for intercompany agreements, and defends positions during transfer pricing controversies.

Candidates for this position should possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, along with a Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction. A minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant tax advisory experience with an accounting firm, law firm, or in-house multinational corporation is required. Strong knowledge in corporate tax, international tax, transfer pricing, and cross-border transactions is essential, as well as contract drafting and negotiation abilities. The role demands the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously and strong English communication skills, both orally and in writing.

Preferred qualifications include an LL.M. in Taxation, prior experience working within a large, multinational manufacturing or technology organization, and familiarity with BEPS, Pillar Two, and global minimum tax developments.
