Team Lead

The Team Lead for Special Handling at Eurofins is responsible for overseeing the Specimen Processing and Referral Department, ensuring efficient operations and serving as the primary communication link between the Customer Care unit, analytical processing departments, and reference laboratories. Eurofins Scientific is an international life sciences company providing a unique range of analytical testing services across multiple industries to ensure product safety and authenticity.

Key responsibilities include managing daily operations within the department, overseeing specimen processing, referrals, test inquiries, and aliquoting issues. The role involves implementing and modifying Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), driving business process improvements, handling 'LabOps' tests, resolving TIQ specimens, and overseeing add-on request processing. Additionally, the Team Lead is tasked with training and supporting staff, ensuring all training and competency documents are up to date, and performing routine departmental functions.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree, strong attention to detail, and the ability to accurately follow protocols and compliance guidelines. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are essential, along with flexibility in adapting to process changes. Proficiency in specimen processing duties, computer literacy, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are also required.
