Technical Sales Engineer
Tulip is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to join our team in Munich, Germany. This role involves collaborating closely with sales executives to drive digital transformation initiatives for our clients. Tulip is a leader in AI-native frontline operations, providing a cloud-native, no-code platform that empowers companies to enhance quality, efficiency, and traceability across their operations.
As a Technical Sales Engineer, you will consult with customers and prospects to prepare their companies for digital transformation. Your responsibilities will include developing and delivering high-impact technical demonstrations of Tulip's solutions, articulating the benefits of our applications to various stakeholders, and providing comprehensive technical pre-sales support to our channel and strategic partners. Additionally, you will manage internal requests, perform needs assessments for new customers, and lead the scoping and estimation of implementation projects delivered by the Tulip Professional Services Team.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of enterprise SaaS technical sales and/or pre-sales experience, along with 3+ years of experience in manufacturing or industrial operations. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, Computer Science) is required, with a Master's degree being a plus. Fluency in German and English (C1 level) is essential. Preferred experience includes familiarity with systems such as MES/MoM, LES/LIMS, WMS, QMS, ERP, SPC, and IIoT. The role may involve travel between 10-50% depending on demand.
