Technical support specialist
As a Technical Support Specialist at Eurofins, you will be the central point of contact for managing and maintaining our advanced building installations and laboratory systems. This role is crucial in ensuring that all equipment and installations operate optimally, contributing to the seamless functioning of our modern, automated laboratory environment.
Your primary responsibilities will include asset management of automated laboratory systems and building installations, planning and executing preventive maintenance, and promptly addressing technical malfunctions. You will manage spare parts inventory, oversee technical support tickets, coordinate with external technicians for repairs, and conduct inspections of various equipment such as robots, water installations, compressors, and lab apparatus. Additionally, you will identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and sustainability.
The ideal candidate possesses a technical education or demonstrable experience in a similar role, with knowledge of maintaining and managing technical installations and automated systems. A solution-oriented and independent work approach, strong communication skills, and the ability to supervise external technicians are essential. Organizational skills and precision in asset and spare parts management are also required. Proactivity and a critical eye for process improvements are highly valued.
