Technician I - 2nd Shift Tuesday- Saturday
Eurofins is seeking a Laboratory Technician I to join our team on the 2nd shift, operating from Tuesday to Saturday, 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm. This role is integral to our laboratory operations, ensuring the quality and efficiency of our testing services. The Laboratory Technician I will be responsible for effectively communicating with team members, maintaining consistent quality and efficiency in all assigned work processes, and keeping equipment and the work environment clean and organized. Key duties include operating laboratory equipment such as centrifuges, automated liquid handlers, and pipettes, applying adequate laboratory techniques after training, and maintaining accurate production records in compliance with established quality system standards. The technician will also follow all company safety and regulatory policies, including handling hazardous materials and wearing proper personal protective equipment (PPE).
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and demonstrate the ability to follow written and oral instructions. The role requires the capacity to perform under the pressure of a fast-paced production environment and the ability to work well with a team with minimal supervision. Annual Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) awareness training is also required. Preferred qualifications include previous experience in an ISO-9000 or cGMP environment, proficiency with general laboratory equipment, Microsoft Windows and Excel proficiency, experience handling hazardous chemicals, and the ability to lift over 35 pounds.
Compensation for this position ranges from $18.00 to $21.50 per hour, with an additional 10% shift differential for the 2nd shift.
