Technologist I
Eurofins Donor & Product Testing is seeking a Technologist I to join our clinical laboratory team dedicated to serving the transplant community. Our laboratories perform microbiology testing to assess microbial cleanliness, infectious disease and donor eligibility testing, as well as Human Leukocyte Antigen (HLA) testing to match organ transplant recipients with compatible donors. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of donors and transplant recipients.
The Technologist I will perform a variety of laboratory tests within multiple specialties, following prescribed procedures. Responsibilities include operating, calibrating, and maintaining laboratory analyzers and equipment, preparing reagents, conducting quality control procedures, and evaluating results. The technologist will also monitor quality assurance programs, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and accurately report patient results using laboratory information systems.
Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in a chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science, or medical technology from an accredited institution. Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship is required. Ideal candidates will have knowledge of medical technology principles, strong analytical and communication skills, proficiency in laboratory equipment use, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Compensation for this position ranges from $20.00 to $23.50 per hour. Benefits include comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, life and disability insurance, a 401(k) plan with company match, and paid vacation and holidays.
