Test Manager
The Test Manager at Voyager Technologies, Inc. will lead the engineering team in designing and executing functional performance and environmental tests for complex PCBAs used in space applications. This role involves developing test architectures, plans, and procedures, as well as overseeing environmental testing such as TVAC, thermal, EMI/EMC, vibration, and shock tests. The Test Manager will ensure projects are completed on time and within budget, while maintaining effective communication with other departments to align engineering efforts with overall business objectives.
Key responsibilities include developing and tracking test procedures, plans, and schedules; reporting and documenting test results; leading and coordinating testing efforts for projects; and supporting internal and external design and development reviews. The Test Manager will also oversee the day-to-day operations of the engineering team, ensuring adherence to quality standards and standard operating procedures, and providing technical guidance to team members.
Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in test engineering, preferably in the aerospace industry. The candidate should have experience with environmental testing in space environments, including TVAC, thermal, shock, and vibration tests. Strong leadership and project management skills are essential, along with excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
