The Vice President of Space, Defense & National Security Growth - NASA at Voyager Technologies is responsible for developing and executing growth strategies and business development plans. This role focuses on creating and advancing recurring business with new and existing customers, driving sales, increasing revenue, and positioning the company for robust growth in alignment with financial objectives. The position reports to the Executive Vice President of Growth-Business Development.
Key responsibilities include developing and executing near and long-term growth strategies to drive business opportunities in alignment with the Annual Operating Plan and Long-Range Strategic Plan objectives. The role requires maintaining a detailed understanding of customer missions, requirements, and gaps, building and maintaining relationships with key customers, vendors, and partners, and tracking emerging markets and trends to propose and develop solutions, including new offerings or strategic partnerships. Additionally, the Vice President will empower lines of business and collaborate with various internal teams to yield sustainable long-term business growth, foster an entrepreneurial growth culture throughout the company, and engage customers and vendors to understand and shape pre-solicitation efforts.
The position requires a bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or management fields, with a master's degree in business administration or engineering preferred. Candidates should have over 12 years of experience building capabilities, supporting, and/or executing NASA enablement efforts or operations, and over 10 years of experience working with, supporting, and/or executing business development with the U.S. Government and/or Prime Contractors. Experience in executing corporate-level business development activities, including briefing executive leadership, is essential. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required, along with an active Secret Clearance.
The role offers a competitive base salary range of $225,000 to $275,000, with the exact compensation depending on experience, skills, and location.
