Test Technician/Test Engineer (m/w/d) - Product Safety
Eurofins Product Service GmbH is seeking a Test Technician/Test Engineer (m/w/d) specializing in Product Safety to join our team in Reichenwalde, located southeast of Berlin. Eurofins is a leading international life sciences company offering a unique range of analytical services to clients across various industries, ensuring the safety, authenticity, and quality of products that impact daily life.
In this role, you will be responsible for testing electrical products such as household appliances, lighting fixtures, laboratory equipment, and industrial components to ensure compliance with national and international standards. Your day-to-day tasks will include documenting test results, communicating with clients, collaborating on projects with international partners, developing and drafting test reports, supporting the sales team through internal assistance and occasional client visits, and conducting on-site inspections at client locations.
The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a comparable qualification, along with experience in the development, testing, and quality assurance of electrical devices. Familiarity with testing procedures according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025, a solid understanding of legal and technical requirements for electrical and electronic products concerning electrical safety, basic knowledge of GS marks and CB procedures (IECEE), and proficiency in English are essential. Additionally, a customer-oriented approach, high learning and commitment levels, reliability, and teamwork skills are required.
