The Therapy Development Representative at Inspire Medical Systems Inc. is a pivotal role focused on expanding the adoption of the company's innovative sleep apnea therapy within the Cleveland, OH region. Inspire Medical Systems is dedicated to enhancing patient outcomes through its FDA-approved implantable device designed for individuals with obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) who cannot tolerate or benefit from traditional CPAP treatments. This position reports to the Regional Manager and collaborates closely with Territory Managers to drive business growth and patient conversion to therapy.

In this role, the representative will plan and execute weekly customer-targeting sequences, educating primary care physicians, internal medicine providers, cardiologists, and other healthcare professionals who manage OSA patients. Key responsibilities include executing referral-channel growth initiatives to increase patient identification and therapy adoption, supporting monthly community education programs and awareness events, and partnering with Territory Managers to expand physician engagement and practice growth opportunities. Additionally, the representative will conduct market assessments to identify growth opportunities and referral gaps, support Territory Managers in growing the territory pipeline, and maintain regular communication with the aligned Territory Manager.

Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree and at least two years of experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or medical device sales. Alternatively, four years of sales experience in these industries or two years of direct experience with Inspire Medical Systems therapy in a clinical setting are acceptable. The role requires the ability to travel within the territory, including overnight stays, and a valid driver's license with reliable transportation. Physical demands include the ability to lift and move materials or equipment weighing up to 40 pounds and perform routine activities such as standing, sitting, bending, and reaching.
