Therapy Development Representative - Detroit, MI

Inspire Medical Systems Inc. is seeking a Therapy Development Representative in Detroit, MI, to enhance awareness and adoption of their FDA-approved medical device for Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA). This role is integral to the company's mission of improving patient outcomes through innovative sleep solutions.

The representative will be responsible for educating healthcare providers, including primary care physicians, internal medicine specialists, and cardiologists, to build confidence in Inspire's therapy. Key duties include executing weekly customer targeting sequences, supporting community education programs, and collaborating with Territory Managers to expand physician engagement and practice growth. Additionally, the role involves conducting market assessments to identify growth opportunities and maintaining customer engagement records in the CRM system.

Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree and at least two years of experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or medical device sales. Alternatively, four years of sales experience in these industries or two years of direct experience with Inspire's therapy in a clinical setting are acceptable. Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills are essential, along with the ability to travel within the territory, including overnight stays.

Inspire offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary of $105,000 per year, equity awards, and participation in the Employee Stock Purchase Program.
