Therapy Development Representative - Kansas City
Inspire Medical Systems Inc. is seeking a Therapy Development Representative in Kansas City to promote its FDA-approved medical device for Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA). This role involves educating healthcare providers and expanding the therapy's reach within the community. The representative will report to the Regional Manager and collaborate with Territory Managers to enhance the therapy's adoption.
Key responsibilities include planning and executing customer targeting sequences, educating primary care physicians and specialists about the therapy, and developing referral channels to increase patient identification and therapy adoption. The role also involves supporting community education programs, partnering with Territory Managers to deepen physician engagement, conducting market assessments to identify growth opportunities, and maintaining accurate records of customer interactions.
Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree and at least two years of experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or medical device sales. Alternatively, four years of sales experience in these industries or two years of direct experience with Inspire Medical Systems therapy in a clinical setting are acceptable. The position requires the ability to travel within the territory, including overnight stays, and a valid driver's license with reliable transportation. Physical demands include lifting up to 40 pounds and performing routine activities such as standing, sitting, bending, and reaching.
The annual salary for this position is $105,000.
