Trainee Second Charge Mortgage Advisor

As a Trainee Second Charge Mortgage Advisor at ClearScore Technology Limited, you will be an integral part of our dynamic team in Manchester. This role offers a unique opportunity to work within a market-leading financial platform, guiding customers through the application process and collaborating with qualified advisors to provide expert advice on second charge mortgages. With the recent acquisition of Aro, we are entering an exciting phase of growth, and you will play a key role in our expansion and success.

Your primary responsibilities will include assessing customers' eligibility for secured loans, conducting fact-finding interviews, and building strong relationships with both customers and advisors. You will be expected to meet or exceed sales targets and key performance indicators while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. Collaboration with our team of advisors and case managers will be essential to support customers' applications and contribute to the continuous innovation of our customer experience.

We are looking for individuals with entry-level experience in a sales environment who possess a performance-driven mindset and take accountability for targets that drive positive outcomes for customers and the business. A good understanding of the financial market, regulations, and procedures is important, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and flexibility to work shifts to meet customer needs are also key requirements.

The position offers a competitive on-target earnings (OTE) of £35,000 to £40,000, comprising a basic salary of up to £28,000 plus bonuses. Additional benefits include hybrid working arrangements (three days in the office and two days from home), 33 days of holiday inclusive of bank holidays, a salary sacrifice pension scheme up to 4%, a healthcare cash plan with a separate balance for dependents, life assurance, and various other perks designed to support a healthy work-life balance.
