Trial Attorney

Morgan & Morgan is seeking a dedicated Trial Attorney to join our Jackson, Mississippi office. As a key member of our litigation team, you will represent plaintiffs in personal injury cases, focusing primarily on motor vehicle and trucking accidents. This role offers the opportunity to work within a firm committed to protecting the rights of individuals against powerful entities.

In this position, you will manage a high volume of litigation cases from inception through trial. Responsibilities include drafting and filing pleadings, discovery requests and responses, motions, and memoranda. You will guide clients through the legal process, interact with expert witnesses to develop reports and affidavits, and prepare for and attend depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances.

The ideal candidate holds a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school and is an active member in good standing with the Mississippi State Bar. A minimum of two years of personal injury litigation experience is preferred. Candidates should demonstrate excellent client service and communication skills, the ability to manage a substantial caseload, and possess superior writing and oral advocacy abilities.
