US Payroll Manager - Client Services Consultant

Harbor is seeking a US Payroll Manager - Client Services Consultant to oversee and manage payroll operations for a key client. This role involves ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant payroll delivery, and may transition into other client engagements, including payroll improvement projects. The position is remote, with a preference for candidates who can work hybrid from Harbor's Nantwich, England office.

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining payroll data integrity, investigating discrepancies, and supporting system testing and process improvements. You will collaborate closely with senior client stakeholders, payroll vendors, HR, Finance, and other partners to deliver a responsive and high-quality service. Candidates should have significant experience managing end-to-end US payroll operations, ideally within a multi-client, consultancy, outsourced, or fast-changing environment. Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll taxation and compliance requirements is essential. Experience with recognized US payroll platforms, such as ADP Workforce Now and Workday, is preferred.
