VP, Frontend React Developer
Galaxy is seeking a Vice President, Frontend React Developer to lead the development of intuitive, high-performance user interfaces for our web and mobile applications. As a global leader in digital assets and data center infrastructure, Galaxy operates at the intersection of finance and technology, delivering solutions that accelerate progress in finance and artificial intelligence. This role offers the opportunity to be a primary developer and leader within a small team working on an exciting new initiative at Galaxy.
In this position, you will spearhead the design, development, and optimization of responsive, user-centric web and mobile app interfaces using modern front-end technologies. Collaborating closely with product managers, UI/UX designers, and back-end engineers, you will translate business requirements into technical solutions. Your responsibilities will also include conducting code reviews, implementing new features, maintaining cross-system compatibility, and mentoring junior developers to ensure a seamless user experience.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, along with over seven years of experience in front-end development for both web and mobile applications, including at least two years in a senior role. Proficiency in modern frameworks such as React and React Native, a strong understanding of responsive design principles, and experience with version control systems and agile development methodologies are essential. Experience in high-growth software startups and the fintech industry is highly desirable.
Galaxy offers a competitive base salary ranging from $140,000 to $220,000 USD, along with a discretionary bonus.
