Web3 Incubator Lab - Tech Lead (Blockchain / Projects)
Hyphen Connect Limited is a leading Web3 incubator in Asia, dedicated to shaping the future of the digital economy through a diverse portfolio of crypto ventures, including payments, wallets, lending, data, AI, and asset management. With a global team of researchers, engineers, operators, and crypto experts, the incubator takes a hands-on approach, supporting its portfolio companies from ideation to market-ready solutions. The Tech Lead will report directly to the Founder or CTO, overseeing technical execution across the incubator's diverse crypto portfolio.
The Tech Lead will lead and mentor engineers across portfolio projects, ensuring high-quality code and alignment with technical goals. Responsibilities include actively contributing to development, writing code for blockchain integrations and backend systems, designing scalable and secure architectures, and collaborating with the Technical Project Manager to align timelines, resources, and deliverables across various ventures. Additionally, the role involves supporting hiring efforts to build high-performing engineering teams for portfolio companies.
Candidates should have at least 8 years of experience in software engineering, with 4 or more years in a technical leadership role. Strong blockchain experience, such as smart contracts, DeFi, or wallet development, is preferred. Proficiency in languages like Solidity, Rust, Node.js, Python, Go, or similar is required. Experience in fintech, banking, insurtech, AI, or high-throughput systems is a strong plus. The role also demands proven abilities in solution architecture, leadership, multi-project management, and effective communication.
