As a Werkstudent Indirect Tax (d/m/w) with a focus on Germany at Auto1, you will join the Indirect Tax team within a dynamic, international company at the forefront of the automotive e-commerce sector. Auto1 Group is a leading European digital automotive platform, and this role offers you the opportunity to work within a fast-paced, innovative environment in Berlin.

In this position, you will support the team with various tasks related to indirect tax compliance, such as preparing VAT declarations and assisting in the preparation of documentation for German tax authorities. Your daily work will involve close collaboration with colleagues across finance, accounting, and legal teams to ensure the timely and accurate handling of tax-related issues. You may also assist in ongoing business projects and support internal process optimization regarding tax topics.

The ideal candidate is currently enrolled in a university program, preferably in business administration, economics, law, or a related discipline, with a keen interest in tax or accounting. Strong analytical and organizational skills, with attention to detail and a reliable, independent work style are essential. Fluency in German, as well as solid English language skills, are required, and prior experience or coursework in tax is a plus.
