Workers' Compensation Attorney
Morgan & Morgan, a leading personal injury law firm dedicated to protecting the people, not the powerful, is seeking an experienced Workers' Compensation Attorney to join its growing practice in Georgia. This role offers a unique opportunity to build and develop a new, rapidly expanding statewide workers' compensation practice within the firm. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team committed to delivering exceptional legal services to clients across Georgia.
In this position, the attorney will manage a substantial and complex caseload, handling all aspects of workers' compensation cases and hearings. Responsibilities include drafting and filing litigation documents such as pleadings, discovery requests, responses, demands, motions, and memoranda. The attorney will guide clients through the legal process, interact with expert witnesses—including conducting conferences and drafting expert reports and affidavits—and prepare for and attend depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances.
Candidates must possess a law degree from a fully accredited law school and be an active member in good standing with the Georgia State Bar Association. A minimum of three years of workers' compensation experience is required, along with the ability to manage a high volume of cases and hearings. Excellent client service and communication skills, superior writing and oral advocacy abilities, and a self-driven approach to long-term career goals are essential.
Morgan & Morgan offers a comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees, including medical and dental insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and paid holidays. The firm is committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants, fostering a diverse and inclusive work environment.
Joining Morgan & Morgan provides an opportunity to be part of a firm that has recovered over $8 billion in the past two years across all 50 states, Washington D.C., and the U.S. Virgin Islands. With a robust influx of cases and a commitment to client advocacy, the firm offers a dynamic and rewarding environment for legal professionals seeking to make a significant impact in the field of workers' compensation law.
