Workers' Compensation Attorney

Morgan & Morgan, a prominent personal injury law firm founded in 1988 and headquartered in Orlando, Florida, is seeking an experienced Workers' Compensation Attorney to join its expanding practice in Maryland. The firm has grown to over 6,000 employees, including more than 1,000 attorneys, with offices across all 50 states and Washington, D.C.

In this role, the attorney will manage a substantial and complex caseload, handling all aspects of workers' compensation cases and hearings. Responsibilities include drafting and filing litigation documents such as pleadings, discovery requests and responses, demands, motions, and memoranda. The attorney will also guide clients through the legal process, interact with expert witnesses—including conducting conferences and drafting expert reports and affidavits—and prepare for and attend depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances.

Candidates must possess a law degree from an accredited law school and be an active member in good standing with the Maryland State Bar Association. A minimum of three years of workers' compensation experience is required, along with the ability to manage a high volume of cases and hearings. Strong client service and communication skills, self-motivation driven by long-term career goals, and superior writing and oral advocacy skills are essential.
