Workers' Compensation Attorney
Morgan & Morgan is seeking an experienced Workers' Compensation Attorney to join its expanding practice in Indiana. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of a new statewide workers' compensation practice within the firm. The attorney will manage a substantial and complex caseload, handling various cases and hearings.
Key responsibilities include the day-to-day management of cases and hearings, drafting and filing litigation documents such as pleadings, discovery requests, responses, demands, motions, and memoranda. The attorney will guide clients through the legal process, interact with expert witnesses—including conducting conferences and drafting expert reports and affidavits—and prepare for depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances.
Candidates must possess a law degree from an accredited law school and be an active member in good standing with the Indiana State Bar Association. The ideal candidate will have litigation experience and a strong interest in practicing workers' compensation law. The role requires the ability to manage a high volume of cases and hearings, excellent client service and communication skills, a self-driven approach aligned with long-term career goals, and superior writing and oral advocacy skills.
