Workers' Compensation Attorney
Morgan & Morgan, a leading personal injury law firm dedicated to protecting the people, not the powerful, is seeking an experienced Workers' Compensation Attorney to join its growing practice in New England. This position is based in Medford, Massachusetts, and requires an attorney barred in New Hampshire. The firm offers a unique opportunity to build and develop a statewide workers' compensation practice, providing a consistent influx of cases for the right candidate.
In this role, the attorney will manage a heavy and complex caseload, handling all aspects of workers' compensation cases and hearings. Responsibilities include drafting and filing litigation documents such as pleadings, discovery requests, responses, demands, motions, and memoranda. The attorney will guide clients through the case process, interact with expert witnesses—including conducting conferences and drafting expert reports and affidavits—and prepare for and attend depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances.
Candidates must possess a law degree from a fully accredited law school and be an active member in good standing with the New Hampshire State Bar Association. A minimum of three years of workers' compensation experience is required, along with the ability to manage a high volume of cases and hearings. Excellent client service and communication skills, self-motivation driven by long-term career goals, and superior writing and oral advocacy skills are essential.
