Workers' Compensation Paralegal

Morgan & Morgan is seeking an experienced Workers' Compensation Paralegal to join our team in Cincinnati, Ohio. As a key member of our legal team, you will work closely with our attorneys to provide comprehensive support throughout the litigation process, ensuring our clients receive the highest level of representation.

In this role, you will be responsible for preparing legal documents such as pleadings, motions, affidavits, complaints, and legal memoranda. Your duties will include e-filing court documents in both state and federal courts, conducting legal research and factual investigations, and drafting discovery documents, interrogatories, and responses. Additionally, you will coordinate and summarize depositions, prepare trial binders and exhibits, and assist with case settlements.

The ideal candidate will possess an associate degree, certificate, or equivalent work experience, with a minimum of 2 years of litigation experience preferred. Completion of a nationally accredited paralegal program is also preferred. Experience in personal injury, workers' compensation, premises liability, or other injury-related practice areas is advantageous. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage workloads with a positive attitude and minimal supervision. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, proficiency in calendaring depositions, mediations, and hearings, and a strong understanding of motions, discovery, evidence, litigation documentation, court rules, and procedures are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and a typing speed of no less than 35 words per minute are required.
