Workers' Compensation Paralegal
Morgan & Morgan is seeking an experienced Workers' Compensation Paralegal to join their Indianapolis office. As a key member of the legal team, the paralegal will support attorneys throughout all phases of litigation, contributing to the firm's mission of advocating for consumer rights.
The paralegal will be responsible for preparing legal documents such as pleadings, motions, affidavits, and complaints. Duties include e-filing court documents, conducting legal research, drafting discovery documents, coordinating depositions, and organizing trial materials. Additionally, the role involves client communication, managing case files, and assisting with case settlements.
Candidates should have an associate degree, certificate, or equivalent work experience, with at least two years of litigation experience preferred. Completion of a nationally accredited paralegal program is advantageous. The role requires strong multitasking abilities, excellent written and verbal communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and a typing speed of at least 35 words per minute.
