WPP Media | Internship 2026
WPP Media is offering a comprehensive 2-month internship program in Hong Kong, designed for students passionate about the future of media and advertising. Interns will be immersed in one of our core biddable media areas—Search Engine Marketing (SEM)/Social, Programmatic, or Search Engine Optimization (SEO)—gaining practical skills and industry knowledge. The program includes working on live client projects and culminates in a capstone project where interns address a real-world business challenge and present their findings to leadership, making a tangible contribution to our team.
Interns will receive specialized training and development in their chosen area, learning to develop, manage, and optimize digital campaigns from inception. Responsibilities include assisting the team with monitoring ongoing campaigns, analyzing performance data, and preparing reports and insights. Additionally, interns will collaborate with fellow participants on a capstone project, analyzing a real-life business scenario, developing strategies, and presenting solutions to senior leaders at the end of the program. Technical expertise will be gained through a combination of classroom training, e-learning modules, and on-the-job experience with industry-leading platforms and tools.
Applicants should be currently enrolled as a Year 2 to final year university student with a strong passion for and keen interest in digital advertising and marketing. Excellent interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset, strong numerical aptitude, and high attention to detail are essential. Fluency in spoken and written English is required, and proficiency in Cantonese is a plus. Prior exposure to digital marketing or advertising concepts through coursework or experience is desirable.
The internship period is from July 2 to August 31, 2026.
