2026 Strategic Insights Summer Analyst
The Strategic Insights Summer Analyst internship is an 8-week program commencing in June 2026 at Financial Technology Partners (FT Partners), a leading boutique investment bank specializing exclusively in the Financial Technology sector. Headquartered in San Francisco, FT Partners offers a comprehensive suite of financial and strategic advisory services, including mergers and acquisitions, private capital raising, and capital markets advisory. This program provides interns with an immersive experience in the dynamic FinTech industry, working alongside seasoned professionals with backgrounds from top-tier firms.
As a Summer Analyst, you will engage in a variety of strategic and operational activities within a fast-paced, high-profile environment. Key responsibilities include conducting due diligence on potential investment banking opportunities, performing financial, valuation, and market sizing analyses, and leveraging extensive market data to identify and publish insights on emerging trends within the FinTech ecosystem. Additionally, you will develop high-impact, market-facing deliverables such as sell-side pitches and analyses of investment and acquisition activities, while assisting senior bankers in business development strategies and facilitating dialogues with C-suite executives.
Candidates should be undergraduate or master's students with an expected graduation date between December 2026 and June 2027, preferably with degrees in Finance, Economics, or Accounting. A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.50 is required. The role demands a strong interest in financial analysis, research, and FinTech, along with exceptional writing and verbal communication skills. Successful applicants will exhibit a strong work ethic, be self-motivated and entrepreneurial, possess robust data management and research skills, and demonstrate maturity and poise when interacting with senior professionals. Permanent U.S. work authorization is required, as FT Partners does not sponsor work visas.
The annual salary for this position is expected to be $100,000.
