Associate / VP: FinTech Strategic Insights / Business Development

Financial Technology Partners (FT Partners) is seeking a FinTech Strategic Insights Associate or Vice President to join our London office. FT Partners is a leading investment bank exclusively focused on the financial technology sector, providing strategic and financial advisory services to innovative companies shaping the future of finance. Our team collaborates with top FinTech businesses globally, advising on high-profile transactions across sectors such as Payments, Banking, Financial Management Systems, Crypto & Blockchain, InsurTech, and SaaS.

In this role, you will support the firm's business development efforts by identifying strategic opportunities, conducting in-depth analyses of industry trends and target companies, and leading the creation of materials to secure new business. You will also work directly with senior bankers and FinTech company leaders to enhance the firm's diligence and assessment processes, while managing and improving internal databases for market intelligence and client targeting.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of experience in investment banking, consulting, venture capital, corporate strategy, or a related field. Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in blockchain and cryptocurrency are essential, along with proficiency in developing code and leveraging AI tools for process optimization. A deep understanding of FinTech market dynamics, superior research and presentation skills, and a bachelor's degree from a top-tier institution are required; an advanced degree or MBA is a plus.
