2D Animator

BrainRocket is seeking a skilled 2D Animator to join our dynamic team in Lisbon, Portugal. As a global company specializing in end-to-end tech products across Fintech, iGaming, and Marketing, we have rapidly expanded across multiple countries, including Cyprus, Malta, Portugal, Poland, and Serbia. Our team of 1,300 innovative professionals is dedicated to creating and launching impactful products.

In this role, you will be responsible for animating characters, environments, UI, and FX assets in various styles, ensuring high-quality and polished animations. You will collaborate closely with the Animation Lead, Art Director, and Producer to identify and understand all animated content needed for project designs. Your day-to-day tasks will include adjusting animations in response to feedback, managing your time efficiently, and exporting assets with specific requirements.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience as an Animator in the Gaming, Film, or Advertising industry. A strong understanding of animation principles, character animation skills, and proficiency in After Effects (including Trapcode Particular) and Photoshop are essential. Knowledge of Spine 2D or similar software for 2D animation, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, is required. A portfolio or showreel demonstrating your work is also necessary.
